Poverty in Allen County by Census Tract and Political
Subdivision
Following are 44 different census tabulations
examining poverty in Allen County at various
geographic and personal levels. Each of the data tabulations
is intended to provide an indication of the relative affluence and
material wealth present. The data reflects estimates
developed by the American Community
Survey. Census tract level analyses examine 2010
poverty data at the family, household, and per capital level, using
estimates derived over the 2006-2010 period.
Analyses at the political subdivision level review the various
poverty levels across each of the 21 political subdivisions in
Allen County. Data for incorporated areas, i.e. villages, are
included in township tabulations. The City of Lima data is
presented separately and is not included with tabulations for any
other jurisdiction. In addition, political subdivision
level data for the City of Delphos and Village of
Bluffton includes data for the entire community,
including those portions just outside of and adjacent to Allen
County. Data at the political subdivision level reflects
poverty estimates across three different time periods,
including: 2010, 2008-2010, and 2006-2010.
